Described as “her generation’s Kristen Chenoweth with a natural luminosity and pureness, a big talent wrapped in a tiny bundle,” Taylor has been working in theater professionally since graduating cum laude from Muhlenberg College, with a degree in Theatre and Music.
Throughout her career, Taylor has had some amazing performance opportunities. Her performances have taken her across America from Santa Rosa, CA to New York, NY. Some of her favorite performances include: Little Sally in Urinetown The Musical, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Ruthie Taylor/Ned in Bat Boy: The Musical, Eponine in Les Miserables and Susie in Fatty Fatty No Friends. She has also been a background actor for many hit TV shows and Films. Taylor has been nominated for numerous awards including “Best Younger Actress (under 25),” “Best Featured Actress in a Musical,” and “Person to Watch.”
Outside of her numerous performance endeavors, Taylor has a background in Marketing, PR and Production. Having worked previously for The New York International Fringe Festival, The Nederlander Producing Company of America, and Boneau/Bryan-Brown, she now has a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to work in the theater world. She is excited to be working with the talented staff of The Pop Music Academy and is ready to share her knowledge and love of performing with their wonderful student base.
